Our 6 step blueprint is our unique strategy designed to transform your health, and help you achieve your goals.
Step 1 – Purpose
Knowing ‘why’ you want to improve your health is one of the most important (and often overlooked) steps in your wellness journey.
That’s because identifying purpose and connecting to your deeper ‘why’ means you’re more likely to feel motivated to reach your goals, and to keep moving forward – even when you face challenges along the way.
Before starting your program with Miyagi, make sure to be clear on your ‘why’. Ask yourself “Why do I want to make these changes? What do I want my life to look like in future?”
Step 2 – Strategy
In your initial call with one of our Registered Practising Dietitians and health coaches, we’ll identify the health and wellness goals that are most important to you.
Then we develop a strategy for success, ensuring it’s not only individualized to your lifestyle and personal preferences, but is also holistic, enjoyable and sustainable in the long term.
As part of the strategy, you’ll also receive nutrition advice based on your recent health markers, so your strategy is personalized to your nutritional and health needs.
Step 3 – Mindset
Transforming your mindset is one of the most important steps in our 6 step blueprint. That’s why our team of experts have dual qualifications as registered dietitians and health coaches, to further support your shift in mindset and facilitate behavior change.
With regular calls with Registered Dietitians and Health Coaches and supporting resources, you’ll discover how to adopt a growth mindset to focus on your strengths, overcome obstacles, and to help evolve your internal beliefs to build confidence and sense of worth. If you believe you can, you will.
Step 4 – Accountability
Keeping you accountable and on track with your goals is vital for success. That’s why our programs offer a variety of tools to boost accountability and help you remain motivated on your journey such as:
Step 5 – Nutrition
Our team of Registered Dietitians take a non-restrictive approach to eating, helping you to achieve a balanced diet – without giving up the foods you love.
You’ll work with our dietitians to not only set goals, but also build your skills and knowledge to improve your relationship with food and make healthier choices you’ll enjoy.
Step 6 – Movement
Engaging in regular physical activity is one of the best things you can do for your health, and reduce the risk of disease.
When you join a Miyagi program, you’ll gain access to an individualized exercise program designed by our registered exercise physiologist.
Plus, our team of experts will work with you to incorporate movement in your routine that you enjoy, as this way you’re more likely to be consistent with it now, and in the future.
